The calm interior with a Showa-era feel is enjoyable as you can see the cooking happening over the counter. The staff is initially straightforward, but they are attentive, which is reassuring. The adobo is a braised dish with a fragrant vinegar aroma, and the meat is tender and falls apart, making it addictive. The flavors of onion, garlic, and potato are prominent, and eating it warms the body. The okra curry has a rich umami flavor, and the soft-boiled egg pairs well with it; the spiciness is mild and easy to eat. There are also regular curries and takeout options, so it's nice to be able to choose based on how you feel that day.
