This is a noodle shop near Tokugawaen where you can feel the history. The spacious interior features long tables made of Chinese quince, creating a calming atmosphere. The handmade noodles are smooth with just the right amount of chewiness, and both the kishimen and soba can be slurped up comfortably. The broth, made from freshly shaved bonito flakes every morning, spreads a gentle umami aroma. The kishimen with sauce is enhanced by ginger and green onions, making it a perfect match for the chewy noodles. The tempura has a light and crispy batter, and the shrimp had a satisfying bounce in texture.
