[Chapeau de Paille is a sandwich shop that appears in a residential area just off Yamate-dori from Nakameguro and to the right before the Meguro Police Department. We visit this store to enjoy their homemade, additive-free ham. The bucket is just right for a sandwich without having too much wheat flavor. I am not a big fan of mayonnaise, but the mayonnaise here is homemade and light without being greasy. I like the bucket, the ham, and the mayonnaise, and in general the sandwich tastes good even when cold. And since it is 1/6, I bought a garotte de roi. I don't often see authentic ones for sale, but this one is on sale all the time. Now, I wonder if there is a fave in it? Try your luck 😀.
