A historic brewery steeped in tradition

Located near Inuyama Castle, Kojima Brewing is a historic brewery established in 1597. Known for its herbal liqueur made from honeysuckle, it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu enjoyed this exquisite drink during the Edo period. With its amber color and rich herbal aroma, it can be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with soda. The ceramic packaging that evokes a sense of long history is also one of its charms.

This is a historic storehouse located on a quiet street in a castle town. Here, they produce a type of sake called 'Yamabukisake' (Honeysuckle Sake), and the atmosphere is rich in flavor. The aroma derived from honeysuckle gently spreads, and the mild sweetness is pleasant. There is a certain richness reminiscent of whiskey, and the slightly amber color is beautiful. It can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or mixed with soda or hot water. Stopping by during a stroll in Inuyama feels like encountering a special bottle.
