While the decline of Burakuri-cho and the local situation are discussed, Fukui Shokudo is a point of interest in Burakuri-cho and attracts a large number of visitors. The lineup of lunch trays on the main street is also attractive, and dishes such as mame-tamago tamago toji and kinpira gobo (fried burdock root) are featured. One can enter the restaurant for sake, order oden or ramen, and enjoy a leisurely drink while reading a sports newspaper at the long-established counter. There are also favorable comments about the food and atmosphere. Fukui Shokudo is a favorite among locals as a place to enjoy food and drink in Burakuri-cho.
