The beginning of the year is Osechi cuisine, isn't it? Happy New Year! We look forward to your continued support in the New Year. Let's start the year with Osechi cuisine! Every year, we order Osechi from Houmei. This year, we decided to try a different company, and chose one with similar contents and price. I chose Warabinosato. They are a ryotei restaurant in Kyoto. Please see the pictures for the details of each dish! It's not bad looking, but it's not so bad at all... Duck roast, salmon roe, and a little too much salt! And there are about 6 kinds of vinegared dishes, which is a lot! Personally, I'm not very good at vinegared foods, so I might have been bothered by them... I guess it's a matter of taste, and you never know until you try it! I put it every year, but this year, too, I will put Haha's Zoni. My mother, who is from Nagoya, prefers "sumashi" (clear soup). It's so delicious that it's one of my favorite New Year's dishes! I have to carry on this taste... I want to eat delicious food here and there again this year! Thank you very much in advance.
