This is a restaurant in Bentencho, Osaka, specializing in fish. It has only table seating, and even if you're alone, they will guide you to a relatively spacious seat, although it can get crowded and you might have to share a table. The signature sesame mackerel set meal features thinly sliced mackerel mixed with sesame and served on ice, which is very fresh and delicious on its own. When you put it on rice, the aroma and umami combine, making it even more satisfying. The side dishes, such as shrimp salad, shirasu tofu, and a hearty miso soup made with white miso, are also excellent, contributing to a well-rounded meal. There are also dishes like sesame kanpachi and simmered kinmedai, and I felt that the restaurant conveys a commitment to quality ingredients and pleasant service.
