When I visited for lunch, I was delighted to see the salad and small dishes served right from the start. The salad, which included large chunks of tomato, was juicy and whetted my appetite. The pork bowl was filled with plenty of stir-fried pork, onions, and carrots, with a nice accent from the ground Sichuan pepper. The kalbi bowl was equally impressive, with thick and tender kalbi that made the rice go down easily with its rich sauce. The miso soup contained blue crabs and clams, and the dashi was well-extracted. With homemade pickles and complimentary yogurt included, I was completely satisfied until the end.
