This is a restaurant that is easy to stop by after visiting Izumo Taisha, with a calm atmosphere resembling a dining hall. The interior mainly consists of table seating, and you pay in advance at a vending machine and then relax while waiting. The three-tiered soba served in a wooden box has slightly flat and thicker noodles, providing a pleasant bite and smooth texture. The dipping sauce has a moderate balance of sweetness and spiciness, and when poured over the noodles, it brings everything together nicely. Instead of wasabi, the spiciness of momiji oroshi (grated daikon with red leaves) adds a nice accent. The three-color soba allows for a delightful change in flavor with raw egg and yam tororo, making it satisfying to finish.
