When you order the meal, it comes with small dishes, tempura, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), rice, clear soup, pickles, and even soba, which is very satisfying. A few dishes are served first, and after enjoying the freshly fried tempura, the flow of having zaru soba (cold soba) at the end is pleasant. The chawanmushi is rich in dashi (broth) and creamy, gently complemented by shiitake mushrooms, mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley), chicken, and kamaboko (fish cake). The tempura is crispy with shrimp and vegetables, and it can be enjoyed deliciously with dipping sauce accompanied by grated daikon radish and ginger. The soba is thin noodles made fresh every morning, with slight variations in width, providing a nice chewiness. The dipping sauce has a strong bonito aroma and is refreshing, and when combined with condiments like wasabi and green onions, it becomes even more enjoyable.
