I visited when I learned that a branch of the ramen restaurant located between Kannai and Sakuragicho stations had opened in Gumyoji. Personally, of all the dishes I ate in 2016, the Mud Club I had at the main restaurant was the number one shocker, so my expectations were high. The restaurant is located along Kamakura Kaido, next to the famous chicken specialty restaurant Torichu Shoten, so it would be more convenient to take the Blue Line subway rather than the Keihin Kyuko Line. It was Saturday noon when I went there, and there were about 5 people waiting outside. I thought the turnover was very fast, perhaps because there are fewer people who eat there in a row than at the main restaurant. The menu changes depending on the stock, so be sure to check the official SNS! Asari clams salted buckwheat noodles (850 yen) I ordered this because I was in the mood for something light, but the soup was surprisingly thick. How many asari clams are used to make one cup of soup? It was like, "How many asari clams do you use in one cup of soup? In a way, I was disappointed, but anyway, the quality of the soup is amazing. The noodles have a unique texture with low water content, and the meat on top can be eaten as it is or soaked in the soup. After the meal, I usually have a bowl of rice topped with a bowl of rice dressing, but this time I had curry (咖喱飯, 350 yen). It is delicious with lots of meat, but be warned that it is surprisingly spicy. It was good again, but I'd like to try the mad crab soon. Anyway, I will go back again.
