Located in a lively shopping district, this traditional tempura restaurant has a bright atmosphere inside. The thick, warm towels are pleasant, and you can relax comfortably at the table seats and raised area. The freshly fried tempura is crispy, and everything from shrimp to whiting, pumpkin, and maitake mushrooms is satisfying. The anago (conger eel) in the tempura rice bowl has just the right amount of meat, and the crispy texture at the edges is irresistible. The set meal comes with a small side dish, miso soup, and pickles, and the seaweed salad and tofu miso soup are also delicious. The sashimi, including tuna, sea bream, and amberjack, is fresh and crunchy, making the rice go down easily.
