The small Okinawan cuisine bar along the street envelops you in warm air as soon as you open the door. The master, who is from Okinawa, manages the kitchen by himself and greets you with a smile, making you feel at ease even if it's your first time. The soba I had for lunch had fluffy, soft noodles, and the simple broth paired well with the flavor of the homemade spare ribs. The toppings, such as pickled ginger and kelp tsukudani, also have a homemade feel, and it's fun to add island chili pepper seasoning halfway through, which changes the flavor sharply. The juicy mixed rice, which contains hijiki, is light and refreshing, and eating it together with the soba enhances the Okinawan atmosphere even more. With Orion beer and awamori available, it's a pleasant place where you can relax and enjoy music at your leisure.
