A hidden French restaurant in the middle of a residential area. Morning at "Hideout French" out of character. The restaurant is mainly open for lunch, but I was informed that they serve breakfast only on weekends and holidays, so I visited the restaurant when it opened at 8:30 a.m. Morning plate + hot coffee (680 yen + 300 yen) As you can see, the plate is packed with toast, salad, quiche, and more. Not too much flavor, but carefully seasoned and very tasty! From fall to spring, apple pies from the owner's family apple orchard are popular, and the baked goods can be taken out. We had the restaurant to ourselves for most of our stay, so we were able to ask the owner about the layout of the restaurant, his specialties, and more. Located near the center of the triangle with Yokohama, Sakuragicho, and Noge at the top, access from the station is a bit inconvenient, but it is well worth the trip. We were able to get in without a reservation the day we went, but the next day it was full from the morning. It seems that the two-part lunch is often full as well, so it would be safe to make a reservation (or at least call in advance) when you go.
