It's exciting to see the grilling happening right in front of you at the counter surrounding the grill. Each skewer, from negima and hatsu to seseri and tsurami, is fragrant, and the balance of salt and sauce is just right. The thick fried tofu and ginkgo nuts are also comforting, making you want to order more. Of course, beer is available, and the hot shochu is served to enhance its aroma, providing a very pleasant taste. Adding a little something like sliced tomatoes or potato salad is perfect in between. It can get crowded, but the calm atmosphere makes it just right for enjoying a drink and some skewers.
