Upon entering the traditional diner marked only by a noren (fabric divider), a calm atmosphere reminiscent of a private home spreads out. A cheerful mother welcomes you alone, and it's enjoyable as small talk begins right away. The squid butter dish has a perfect match of plump meat and fragrant butter, making the rice go down easily. The freshly fried karaage (fried chicken) is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with even the small side dishes and pickles having a careful flavor. The hearty miso soup with plenty of ingredients and the gentle-tasting miso ramen were also comforting and delicious. It's a lovely little place with just a few tables, where you can slowly enjoy your meal and conversation.
