This is a historic shop that has been around since the Meiji era, where you can enjoy plenty of eel from Kagoshima. The skin is crispy while the inside is fluffy, and the grilling is done to perfection. In addition to the white grilled and kabayaki styles, the salt-grilled eel has a different flavor that is interesting. The eel served in a two-tiered bento box and hitsumabushi are also very satisfying. The bone crackers, grilled eel liver, and other dishes have great textures, and I liked them all. It's also nice that there are sets available that allow you to try a variety of dishes in small portions.
