In a quiet residential area, there is a small soba restaurant where you can relax. The interior is adorned with impressive fish prints and wooden carvings of bears, giving it a charming Showa-era atmosphere. The fragrant soba retains its flavor even when served hot and can be slurped easily. The gentle broth, rich in dashi, has a smooth taste that makes you want to drink it all. The piping hot katsudon and curry nanban are also very satisfying and will fill you up. The careful work and warm hospitality of the couple who have run the shop for many years made my heart feel at ease.
