Savor Traditional Edomae Unagi

Tsukiji Miyagawa Honten Daimaru Sapporo Depachika is a historic restaurant specializing in Edomae unagi, established in 1893. The eel is prepared in the Kanto style, opened from the back and steamed to achieve a fluffy texture. The light, dry sauce and Nara pickles harmonize perfectly, enhancing the dish's flavor. You can enjoy authentic traditional tastes conveniently in the department store basement.

I was able to enjoy the taste of a specialty store simply by warming up the eel bento I received at the department store basement at home. The eel is steamed and opened from the back, making the flesh fluffy and tender. The light, slightly spicy sauce seeps into the rice, allowing me to eat it without getting bored until the end. The elegant aroma and richness of the domestically produced eel provide a great sense of satisfaction. The deep flavor of the accompanying Nara pickles further enhances the sweet and savory taste of the eel. The service that allows you to specify the pickup time is also convenient, making it easy to take it home smoothly after shopping.
