In a traditional farmhouse cafe located in a mountain village, the moment you open the door, you are greeted by the scent of wood and the colors of dried flowers. Thanks to the flowers hanging from the ceiling and the music playing from the speakers, it’s a space that makes you want to sit down and relax. The first dish that arrived was wild vegetable pasta, with thin noodles that had just the right amount of chewiness, perfectly balanced with a gentle-flavored soup and chili. The crisp kogomi (fiddlehead ferns) blended in without any strong taste, allowing you to enjoy the spring-like aroma, which was impressive. The mushroom pizza I ordered afterward had a thin crust topped with plenty of mushrooms, with the aroma and texture taking center stage. The matcha basque cheesecake and refreshing coffee we had after the meal paired well together, allowing us to enjoy a highly satisfying time until the very end.
