Just a 1-minute walk from Chungmuro Station on Subway Lines 3 and 4. A popular restaurant offering hearty grilled offal. The charm lies in the variety of grilled offal dishes, starting with beef and pork small intestines known as 'gopchang'. Additionally, the extensive side menu featuring dishes like kimchi stew and omelets is also highly regarded. The interior boasts a cozy atmosphere with drum can tables and signatures of famous personalities adorning the walls. The name 'Imone' means 'maternal aunt' in Korean, conveying a homely and warm image. This restaurant has a history of moving from Gopchang Street in Wangsimni to Chungmuro and continues to be loved by locals and tourists alike. ▼ Beef Gopchang 160g for 2,013 yen per serving The rich flavor and juiciness that spread the moment you take a bite are its attractions. While the unique flavor of the offal is distinctly felt, careful preparation minimizes any strong odors. The grilled beef gopchang has a fragrant exterior and a soft, plump texture inside, with umami oozing out with every bite. You can enjoy the melting taste of gopchang with its crispy grill marks in your mouth. Eating it hot and fresh allows you to fully appreciate its charm. You can enjoy your meal while feeling the local vibrancy, making it a great way for travelers to experience Korean food culture up close. Moreover, its convenient location just a minute's walk from Chungmuro Station makes it easy to stop by even during sightseeing.
