When you stop by along the road of the Atsumi Peninsula, the store is filled with a variety of ocean treasures that excite you. Among them, the boiled shirasu (young sardines) are plump and rich in flavor, and just placing them on rice brings a delightful taste. Even after thawing, they do not become watery, and it's convenient to divide them into small portions and keep them in the freezer so you can enjoy them anytime. The large pieces are free of any fishy smell and are elegant, and it's charming to occasionally find small fish or tiny shrimp mixed in as a sign of nature. Buying in bulk as souvenirs for home and sharing with friends and family fills the table with the aroma of the sea.
