The atmosphere in the restaurant has a Showa-era feel, making it very comfortable. The thick tonkatsu is crispy and very tender. The curry sauce is packed with meat, providing a reassuring taste typical of a diner. Both the katsu curry and katsu don are satisfying and filling. The katsu don in Ebisu has a striking appearance, and it's interesting that it comes with a fork and knife. The tonkatsu made from Shigemoto pork has a wonderful aroma and I believe it rivals that of specialty shops in terms of deliciousness.
