The cozy interior of the shop has a traditional atmosphere that is calming. Just watching the owner skillfully layer the batter right in front of me is exciting. The freshly cooked okonomiyaki is packed with plenty of cabbage and bean sprouts, and it feels light enough to eat two. The noodles are well-soaked in flavor, and when I asked for a little spiciness, it tasted even more fragrant. By mixing in the mayonnaise and condiments on the table, we could enjoy a variety of flavors, bringing smiles to the whole family. The friendly conversation with the owner added to the experience, making me feel as if I had returned home.
