It's a small Okinawan izakaya located inside a building, and once you step inside, a relaxed atmosphere envelops you, making you feel at ease. The interior, centered around the counter, has a limited number of seats, which naturally encourages conversations with neighboring customers. The talkative owner and his wife from Okinawa make a perfect combination, and before you know it, you feel like a long-time regular. In addition to classics like tempura of bitter melon and fried island tofu, the creatively prepared dishes, such as fried squid wrapped in shiso with meat miso, are very delicious. While sipping Orion beer and awamori, the time spent snacking on soft bone pork and nbuushi flows leisurely. The Ryukyu glass and the cat-shaped soy sauce dispenser are cute, making it a wonderful place filled with the warmth of Okinawa and Nishi-Ogikubo.
