It had been a while since I visited Shinkaichi, but it was no longer as lively as it used to be. Nevertheless, we entered the old Masamuneya restaurant. The restaurant was almost full when we entered, indicating that it is a popular place. The dishes we ordered, sweet potato mizuwari, firefly squid, tuna sashimi, suji-dote, and cod roe, were all delicious, and we look forward to our next visit. Shinkaichi used to be home to many charming restaurants, but that has changed. I enjoyed this nostalgic time. Thank you for the food. We will definitely come back again.
