The calm interior of the restaurant, located just a short walk from the station, is spacious in the back, and you feel at ease the moment you step inside. The counter run by the owner and his wife has a homely atmosphere, making it a great place to relax even if you're alone. The sashimi platter made with fresh fish sourced that day brought a smile to my face. Mixing in the five-color natto enhances the umami, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. Dishes like the scallop and Kujo green onion salad and shrimp spring rolls are light and fragrant, perfect for enjoying with drinks. Surrounded by local customers in a warm atmosphere, taking the time to savor sake and shochu was the best experience.
