This is a small shop centered around a counter, located a short walk along Meiji Street from Yoyogi Station. It has a wide selection of shochu and sake, and also offers white wine that pairs well with vinegared rice. The unique rolls, such as cucumber and salted cod roe rolls, are very delicious. The grilled shishamo and cod roe with ponzu sauce are packed with flavor, making it hard to put down the chopsticks. The nigiri sushi, including mackerel, kohada, squid, akagai, medium fatty tuna, horse mackerel, and whelk, have a good grainy texture in the rice and a refreshing aftertaste. With a limited number of seats and a calm atmosphere, it’s delightful that they serve each piece with care.
