Located in the basement floor of Takashimaya Yokohama, it's great that you can stop by right after getting off the train. The selection of meat bento is impressive, and just looking at it makes your appetite grow. The simmered beef is packed with flavor, cooked using traditional techniques, and goes perfectly with rice. The aroma of soy sauce combined with the sweetness of onions and burdock creates a very good balance of flavors. There are also bento options that allow you to enjoy both pork and beef, and both are tender and satisfying. The side dishes, like fluffy scrambled eggs, are also made with care and pair excellently with the meat.
