Located a little off the shopping street by the sea, this nostalgic space filled with the scent of the Showa era unfolds as you pass through the noren (fabric divider). The chef cooks alone behind the counter, and it's exciting to see the dishes being prepared right in front of you. The style of adding your favorite ingredients to the base okonomiyaki (savory pancake) or yakisoba (fried noodles) is interesting, and just placing an order gets everyone excited. There are also rare toppings like sand gizzards and squid tempura, which provide an irresistible texture and aroma. When you take a bite of the piping hot food with a spatula on the teppan (griddle), the unique sauce of the yakisoba is particularly delicious and leaves a lasting impression. Coupled with the friendly and talkative chef's personality, I was able to enjoy a relaxed and homely time.
