This is a counter-only shop located inside a building. The atmosphere beyond the noren (fabric divider) is pleasant, and recommendations are lined up on the blackboard and strips of paper. It's enjoyable to see the day's dishes arranged on large plates and bowls. The fried chicken has a perfect balance of saltiness and spices that makes it addictive. The assorted tempura has a light batter, and is satisfying with plenty of shrimp, squid, and vegetables. The tempura of wood ear mushrooms also has a unique texture that pairs well with the dipping sauce.
