The first dish served, a broth made from dried sardines and kelp, has a gentle flavor that naturally whets the appetite. The signature oden absorbs the flavors of its ingredients, and when a little ginger miso is added, the aroma spreads and warms the body. The grilled scallop with miso combines the rich umami of the creamy egg and miso, and the meat is packed, providing a high level of satisfaction. There are also a variety of handmade snacks like squid menchi and deep-fried tofu filled with shrimp, which pair perfectly with the drinks.
