There are several Nagahama Ramen restaurants in Fukuoka Prefecture that claim to be the original, but apparently this is the real original 🍜. On a rainy weekday, I was able to get in without waiting in line! 😄. You buy a ticket from the ticket machine in front of the restaurant, tell the staff how hard you want your noodles, and sit down at an available seat. Basically, it's a shared seating arrangement, so it's hard to stay long lol. This time I ordered only ramen, which came out very quickly 😂. It tasted pretty light and pork bone broth, but it didn't have much punch as it was, so I added some sesame and red ginger 👍. It was just plain delicious 😋. I was thinking that this is the original taste, but most of the other customers were getting a second helping 😅. Personally, one bowl was enough for me!

I knew of this restaurant but had never been in it before. The cab driver told me this place was good, so I went! Apparently, the basic toppings are red ginger and white sesame seeds. Ramen 550 yen. I liked the taste. The noodles were firm and the soup was surprisingly light.
