If you are looking for a place to eat around Himeji Station, I recommend Kyo Chabana Himeji Branch. It is often crowded, but it is worth it. The okonomiyaki with tomatoes is especially recommended. The fluffy texture and the acidity of the tomatoes are exquisite. The restaurant's okonomiyaki is full of vegetables, which you may find difficult to put together, but it is cooked properly. Other dishes such as tomato pork cheese and avocado black yakisoba are also creative and interesting. Be sure to visit when you travel to Himeji.
