A café and izakaya in a renovated 100-year-old private house. It is a café by day and an izakaya by night, run by the couple who once ran the popular restaurant "Umezura" where reservations were hard to come by. The menu includes seafood rice bowls, oysters, and other raw foods, as well as soba noodles, and has a reputation for being reasonably priced and delicious. Homemade desserts such as pudding and seasonal fruit tarts are also very popular among women. The restaurant's interior, which combines heavy beams that remain intact and plastered earthen walls, offers a retro-modern, Japanese-style antique space.

I visited for the first time because I was curious about it after looking for it on the Internet. We arrived at the restaurant on time because reservations are required, but perhaps because it was a busy time of the day, they did not notice that we had arrived, and although there were several staff members there, none of them approached us. However, the food was delicious and the staff was very helpful afterwards, so I will only give the restaurant minus one star. If the restaurant is so prosperous, it might be a good idea to pay attention to how you enter and exit the restaurant.

I had been curious about this restaurant and visited for the first time. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food and desserts were delicious. The sashimi set meal was very satisfying, and when I told them about my allergies, they were happy to accommodate me.

I am a fan from Umezura. Ordered the seafood bowl and fruit tart. The taste was great, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a shame that it's no longer near the station so we can no longer enjoy our drinks at ease, but even with that, it's still too good to be true. We enjoyed the food and when we got home we had tea with take out scones and it was a wonderful day. We will be back, thank you very much.

I made a reservation, but when I entered the restaurant, the first thing I thought was that I was worried because the seats were very close together and there were no measures taken to prevent coronas! I was also concerned about the fact that you had to register as a friend on line to order. However, I ordered the sashimi set meal, which I was looking forward to because I had made a reservation, and found a hair tangled in one of the pieces of sashimi. I pulled it out and gently handed it to the waiter who came to our table and told him that it was in there. He apologized and went back to his table. But this time, a different waiter came and offered me a piece of hair that was tangled in the sashimi. He told me that none of our waitresses had long hair. I had long hair, so she said it was mine, but the one that came out of the sashimi was black and straight, and I had a light chestnut-colored perm, and the length was different, so it was obvious that it was not my hair! The waiter asked if he could replace it, but I didn't feel like eating anymore, so I said no, and felt bad about leaving the food without any guilt. I came here to enjoy good food, but I was really disappointed. I wish they would have been more considerate to their customers!

Last time we had eel, no small bones, and it was delicious, and today, our second time, was the sashimi set meal. We had several kinds of sashimi, including fatty but refreshing toro (fatty tuna). It was also very tasty.
