Upon entering the store, I was excited to see a variety of tofu and awamori products lined up. The staff kindly explained the features, and I was able to taste a few samples. There are variations such as Japanese, Chinese, Western, and kimchi, making it fun to compare the different flavors. There are also different aging years and types for cooking, which can be used as an accent in dishes. The fermentation gives it a reddish appearance, and the unique flavor of awamori is distinctly felt. Of course, it pairs well with snacks, and it is also very delicious when placed on crackers.
