An Izakaya to Savor the Flavors of Yamagata
This izakaya, with its charming old machiya-style architecture, offers a delightful experience of Yamagata's local sake and regional cuisine. The menu features a rich variety of dishes made with seasonal local ingredients, including wild vegetables from Mount Gassan, seafood from the Sea of Japan, and Yamagata beef. Notably popular are the butter-flavored sea urchin fried rice, the local specialty imoni (a taro stew), and dashi tofu.
