A short walk from Zenkoji Temple leads you to a soba restaurant with a calm atmosphere. Upon entering, the wood-grain interior is tastefully arranged, making it very comfortable. The thin noodles, made in the Togakushi style, are fresh and release a delightful aroma every time they mingle with the dipping sauce. Crispy tempura and fluffy omelets are also served, pairing excellently with the soba. The wasabi bowl, where you can grate your own wasabi, is enjoyable and has just the right amount of spiciness that keeps your chopsticks moving. With a rich selection of local sake from Shinshu, savoring the dishes alongside a fragrant cup makes for an even happier experience.
