The warm atmosphere of a renovated private house allows for a calm and relaxing experience. It is conveniently located for easy access by car, with ample parking available. Soba and kamameshi are the specialties, and I noticed signs for takeout and soba porridge at the entrance. The soba, ground slowly in a stone mill at the shop, has a pale gray color with visible black grains and a sharp-cut edge, offering wonderful aroma and texture. The dipping sauce is refreshingly elegant and pairs well with the firm noodles. The tempura is crispy, and you can enjoy small side dishes, pickles with a hint of yuzu, and even soba jelly with buckwheat grains, providing a satisfying experience.
