It's a lively and comfortable place where you can enjoy yourself without feeling stiff. The counter is the centerpiece, and it's exciting to watch the sushi being prepared right in front of you. The sashimi platter features fresh shellfish, and I was particularly impressed by the crunchy texture of the surf clam. The fried pufferfish has a crispy coating and fluffy flesh, with just the right amount of salt. You can choose each piece of sushi individually, and the squid, live octopus, and sweet shrimp are all great, with the octopus being refreshing when enjoyed with salt and lemon. The restaurant is non-smoking, and the air is fresh, with a wide variety of appetizers, and I appreciate that they serve them on bamboo leaves.
