Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to be served jasmine tea instead of water, which had a lovely fragrance. I chose a set of dim sum and oden, and I also enjoyed the soup dumplings and stir-fried wood ear mushrooms with eggs. The oden had two flavors, dashi and miso, both of which had a gentle taste that was comforting. The chawanmushi (savory egg custard) could be chosen with either a seaweed sauce or a mentaiko (spicy cod roe) sauce, and it had a smooth texture. The rice was on the softer side and paired well with the mild side dishes. There are also light drinking sets and a set meal where oden is the main dish accompanied by spring rolls, allowing for enjoyment based on one's mood.
