An izakaya where you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes

Izakaya Shima is highly recommended for seafood lovers. The owner comes from a family of fishermen, ensuring a selection of fresh fish dishes. The tuna dishes are particularly exquisite, so be sure to try the namerou sushi and skewers. The side dishes, such as the Japanese-style dashi rolled omelet, are also delicious, making it a place where the whole family can be satisfied.

The seafood is very good, and there is no wrong choice with any of the dishes. The tuna, in particular, is exceptional, and the platter of cheek meat, brain, and fatty tuna melts in your mouth with its rich fat content. The signature grilled tuna skewers are fluffy and tender, offering a texture unlike anything you've experienced before. The sushi with namerou pairs perfectly with the rice, and the balance of wasabi is pleasant. The deep-fried whole octopus, skewers of pearl clam, deep-fried butterbur sprouts, Japanese-style rolled omelet, and grilled ribbonfish with salt and pepper each have their own charm and are enjoyable. The appearance is simple, but the friendly atmosphere allows families and couples to relax and spend time comfortably.
