This restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and the warmth of the craftsmen and staff is immediately felt. The first dish that came out was a sashimi platter, packed with the deliciousness of local fish, and I was particularly surprised by the combination of tasting octopus with pepper. When I requested sushi next, in addition to white fish and blue fish, even grouper appeared, and with each piece, the aroma of the sea spread. I enjoyed sea urchin eaten with just salt, tender conger eel, and even sushi made with Iki beef, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. It was also delightful to be able to compare barley shochu and local sake to match the dishes, enhancing the flavors of the fish even more. Thanks to the detailed explanations, I was able to thoroughly enjoy my meal while experiencing the food culture of Iki.
