You can easily enjoy the flavors of the island. The local specialty, island sushi, can be purchased for takeout, allowing you to enjoy it anytime. The toppings, marinated in soy sauce with fresh fish, combined with sweet rice and mustard, are quite addictive. I noticed several varieties, and the Oohime was light yet flavorful, with a good texture. The taste of the vinegared rice is strong enough that you can enjoy it on its own. It's perfect for a quick stop during sightseeing, and the convenience store-like interior was easy to enter.
