The area along the street has a souvenir corner, and further inside is a dining space that is easy to enter. The yudofu (tofu hot pot) gradually turns white with the hot spring water, losing its edges and becoming creamy. The staff carefully teaches you how to eat it, so you can feel confident about when to add the vegetables. You can enjoy adding udon noodles at the end, and the aroma of the udon is delightful, making it satisfying. The mapo tofu dish is also delicious, with firm tofu and a pleasant spiciness that goes well with rice. The tea served with it leaves a refreshing aftertaste, making it perfect for a stop in front of Siebold's foot bath.
