The restaurant has the appearance of a traditional diner, and it is well-cleaned and calming. The hand-made soba and thick udon noodles release their aroma and chewiness with each bite, bringing a smile to my face. The broth of the nabe-yaki udon, flavored with soy sauce, has a slight sweetness, making it a comforting taste on a cold day. The tempura of mountain vegetables and shrimp has a crispy batter, and the sweetness of the vegetables is also well appreciated. The combination of the tender meat in the katsudon and the miso soup with cabbage is gentle, resulting in a high level of satisfaction for the entire set meal. I felt that this restaurant has no wrong choices, as you can also enjoy handmade konnyaku and plenty of vegetables in the houtou.
