The counter has about 10 seats, allowing you to relax in a calm atmosphere. It is run by a family, and the head chef and the young owner serve sushi with great care. The display case is filled with fresh seafood, and I was impressed by the exquisite flavors of kohada and simmered clams. With just a word, they serve one piece each, so you can enjoy a variety of your favorite toppings. There is also a playful element where you can feed the turtle behind the counter, which brought a smile to my face. It is a wonderful local restaurant where you can quietly savor sushi at your own pace.
