This is a cozy shop located in a quiet place by the river. Upon entering, there is a counter and a tatami room, with a raised area that has tables, making it easy to use. The brisk owner guides you, and you can enjoy delicious homemade pickles right from the start. The rice for the chirashi is vinegared rice, and it comes with salad, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), miso soup, dessert, and coffee, which is very satisfying. The nigiri has thick toppings and slightly larger rice balls, and the thin rolls with gourd and cucumber are also carefully made and delicious. The fried burdock root is crispy, and the salmon and salmon roe rice bowl is hearty, making it easy to understand why it has been loved by locals for a long time.
