This is a quiet izakaya located in a residential area where you can enjoy lunch. The curry contains chunky vegetables and juicy chicken cutlet, and its moderate spiciness is addictive. The daily special stir-fried pork and vegetables is also packed with veggies and has a flavor that goes well with rice. The rice bowls are topped with a mountain of fresh horse mackerel, and I was surprised by the sweetness of the thick fillets. You can choose from small to large servings of rice, and refills are free, so it's great to be able to eat until you're full. With attentive service and a comfortable atmosphere, it's no wonder that lunch time is always fully booked.
