This is a beautiful izakaya where you can enjoy various local dishes from Kumamoto. The horse sashimi is rich and sweet, and the fatty part was particularly impressive. The freshly fried mustard lotus root pairs well with mayonnaise and goes nicely with shochu mixed with hot water. The sashimi from the top of the bluefin tuna is fatty, and it was surprising that even with a lot of wasabi, it didn't have a strong kick. The interior is bright and lively, with a counter and tatami seating, making it comfortable even for solo diners. Everything was delicious, and the staff's service was pleasant.
